Golf Course Overview
Allen Park Golf Centre, the home of Antrim Golf Club, opened for play in spring 1997 on the outskirts of Antrim town. Covering approximately 143 acres, the parkland layout extends to over 6,600 yards from the championship tees with a par of 72. Three man-made lakes punctuate a gently undulating landscape and bring water into play on a number of holes, providing a fair but searching test for golfers of all standards.
Facilities include a 13-bay floodlit driving range with target greens at 50-yard intervals, ball dispensing machines, club hire and recently extended short-game practice areas with bunkers and a synthetic chipping green. The clubhouse offers food, drink and changing facilities, and the venue is open to visitors throughout the week with some restrictions on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The complex sits about two miles from Antrim town centre on the Randalstown Road, near Shane Castle, and is around five miles from Belfast International Airport.
