Golf Course Overview
Aldwickbury Park Golf Club sits on the outskirts of Harpenden and is home to two contrasting layouts. The main Park Course was designed by former Ryder Cup player Ken Brown together with architect Martin Gillett and opened in 1995. It plays to a par 71 over 6,368 yards, combining mature woodland, undulating parkland and lakes, with stunning views over the Lea Valley. The Manor Course is a 9-hole short layout of around 1,000 yards with holes from 50 to 150 yards, offering a mix of woodland, water and bunkering.
The club provides extensive practice facilities, a well-stocked golf shop, a lounge bar and terrace dining, and hosts weddings, corporate days and society events. Visitors are welcome seven days a week on both courses, with the Manor Course especially popular with beginners, families and juniors. Harpenden railway station is a short drive away and the M1 (junction 9 or 10) offers quick access from London and the Midlands.
