Golf Course Overview
Aldersey Green Golf Club opened in 1993 and is set across roughly 200 acres of Cheshire countryside near the village of Handley, south of Chester. The 18-hole parkland layout plays to a par of 71 over approximately 6,165 yards from the white tees. Narrow, tree-lined fairways and no fewer than fourteen lakes make driving accuracy the key to scoring, and ditches and water come into play on most holes. The 9th and 18th both finish next to the clubhouse, which is a popular feature of the round.
Facilities include a clubhouse with bar and catering, pro shop, changing rooms, putting green, short-game area and buggy hire. The club welcomes visiting golfers and societies and hosts regular open competitions. Easy access is provided by the A41 between Chester and Whitchurch, and the course lies close to Chester Zoo and Delamere Forest for those combining a round with a day out.
