Golf Course Overview

Aboyne Loch Golf Centre lies on Royal Deeside in Aberdeenshire, set on undulating ground beside Aboyne Loch and adjacent to the Lodge on the Loch hotel and spa. The complex now offers two short 9-hole courses, the Pussycat (par 31, around 1,800 yards) and the Kittycat (par 35, approximately 1,370 yards), along with a driving range and practice facilities. The parkland setting features tree-lined fairways and several water hazards built around the natural loch and ponds, providing a fun introduction to inland Scottish golf.

Facilities include a pro shop, club hire, golf tuition with resident professional Fraser Dunlop, and the option to combine play with accommodation at the Lodge on the Loch. Aboyne Loch sits on the A93 about 30 miles west of Aberdeen and around an hour's drive from the city's airport, making it a popular stop for visitors touring the Cairngorms and Royal Deeside. The centre is open year-round subject to ground conditions.
