Golf Course Overview
Aberfeldy Golf Club was founded in 1895 when the Marquis of Breadalbane feued land to the Burgh of Aberfeldy for sporting use. The course has evolved over its history, expanding to a full 18 holes in 1995 for the club's centenary, with James Braid credited as an early influence on the layout. Today it plays as a scenic parkland course with two halves separated by the River Tay, reached via the club's own iconic plastic bridge. Measuring around 5,928 yards with a par of 70, the course is relatively flat and walkable, yet plenty of water hazards and mature tree-lined fairways demand accurate play.
The club offers a welcoming clubhouse serving food and drink, a professional shop, practice area, putting green, and buggy and trolley hire. Visitors and societies are welcomed throughout the season, with competitive green fees and society packages available. Aberfeldy is a founding member of the 1895 Club and has reciprocal arrangements with other local clubs. Situated on Taybridge Road in the heart of Highland Perthshire, the course is a short walk from the town centre and sits just a short drive from Scotland's central belt.
