Every club can list their open competitions on Golf Empire for free. Each paid tier builds on the one below — Enhanced adds visibility benefits, Spotlight adds prominent placement, Featured Club adds an exclusive county banner. The tiers are cumulative: every higher tier includes everything from the tiers below.

Which tier is right for your club?
Choose Free if: You want to list your opens but aren't looking for added visibility. Perfect for clubs running a small number of events or trying Golf Empire for the first time.
Choose Enhanced if: Your club has a story to tell — a notable course, an interesting history, a particularly strong opens programme — and you want every event page to do justice to your venue. The most popular option for clubs that want to stand out from generic free listings.
Choose Spotlight if: Your club competes for the same audience as other strong clubs in your county and you want prominent placement on both the county landing page and at the top of every relevant category page. Limited to 2 clubs per county.
Choose Featured Club if: You want the most visible listing on Golf Empire. An exclusive banner at the top of your county page, plus every benefit of Spotlight. One per county per year — the flagship tier.
What each tier looks like
Free Listing: Your events appear in the chronological list on regional, county and category pages. Standard event row, no visual highlights.
Enhanced Listing: On your county page, your club appears with a thumbnail image, a one-line tagline and a star alongside your name. Across category pages, every one of your events gets a star and a gold trim on the left of the row, drawing the eye. On your club page and every event page, an “About this venue” description with a venue image gives golfers context before they decide to enter.
Spotlight Listing: All of the above, plus your club appears in the “In the Spotlight” section on your county page — sat directly beneath the Featured Club banner, with a thumbnail and short description. Your next upcoming events also appear in the “Spotlight Competitions” section at the top of every relevant category page.
Featured Club: The flagship listing. Everything in Spotlight, plus an exclusive banner at the very top of your county page — the first thing every visitor sees. One per county per year.
Email campaigns
One-off email campaigns to drive entries for specific events are available to any tier. To protect the engagement of our 64,000+ subscriber list, we typically allow one campaign per club per year (occasionally two). See campaign options →
