Find Open Golf Competitions

Golf Empire is the UK's most comprehensive directory of amateur open golf competitions. For more than 27 years we've helped golfers across the country find and enter opens at over 2,700 clubs, from local Stableford competitions to scratch events at Top 100 venues.

There are four main ways to search for an event. If you have a specific course in mind, browse the A–Z of golf clubs. If you're planning a trip to a particular part of the country, search by region. If the format matters most — individual, pairs, team, ladies, mixed, seniors, scratch — search by event type.

Premium members also have unrestricted access to Search+ — our new, ground-up rebuild of the entire search experience — which enables you to filter by date, region, format, age, holes, course type and more. You can also use the Calendar and Map View to discover events more easily or the "Find events I can enter" tool which will only show events you are eligible to enter based on your gender, age and handicap.
