South Wales Links Championship 2019
The South Wales Links Championship, powered by Intelligent Golf and passed by Welsh Golf as a qualifying event, is a Men's Amateur Stableford Championship played over 5 of the finest courses in Wales. All 4 main courses are in the Top 10 in Wales. The winner will take away a £300 voucher and a trophy.
The Venues are Southerndown #Ranked 10th, Ashburnham #Ranked 6th, Pennard #Ranked 4th & Wales Top Ranked course Royal Porthcawl.
Each competitor will play 4 rounds with highest total aggregate winning.
· Monday 25th March: Southerndown Golf Club
· Tuesday 26th March: Ashburnham Golf Club
· Wednesday 27th March: Pennard Golf Club
· Thursday 28th March: Top 36 play Grand Final at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club
· Thursday 28th March: Non Qualifiers Stableford event at Pennard Golf Club
The Championship is limited to 99 players (so don't miss out), playing the first 3 days over Southerndown, Ashburnham and Pennard Golf Clubs.
Top 44 will then play final Grand Final Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, with non qualfiers playing the highly regarded Machynys Peninsula Golf Club.
All this for amazing entry-fee of £239.
Each day there will be Individual Prizes.
The Presentation will take place at Royal Porthcawl on Thursday 28th March 2019 at 5.30 pm.
All entrants must be amateurs and members of recognised golf clubs, or affiliated to their country’s governing body, and must hold an active CONGU handicap. Handicap certificates and/or entrants CDH number must be provided upon registration.
Entrants must be over the age of 18 upon entry. Maximum handicap is 18 (players over 18 handicap may enter but have to play off 18).
Please note: No player can win more than £500 voucher during the week.
Cancellations made by 1st October 2018 will be given a full refund; by 1st December 2018 be given a 50% refund, and after this date no refund can be given.
