The 2010 Amatour - Tour for Amateur Golfers

The idea behind Amatour is to provide the competitive handicap golfer both male and female with their very own amateur golf tour. The 2010 schedule can be seen below.

The tour is split into categories, Scratch and Handicap, both with order of merits. Players are welcome to play in any event with the best eight finishes counting towards the Order of Merits. At each tournament players will accumulate points which will go towards these Order of Merits. The tour will have four majors where points will count double for which players will have to qualify. All Tour Events are played over 18 Holes and all players are welcome at any event.

The top players from each Order of Merit, will automatically qualify for the end of season Tour Championship at Dale Hill... and will slog it out to see who becomes the Amatour Champions for 2010.
