We received the below email from the organisers of the 4bbb.co.uk National Pairs Challenge on 2nd May 2012.
"We write to advise that Platinum Golf Limited has seized trading with immediate effect and was technically insolvent as at 1st May 2012. The company has no assets and insufficient funds/capital to formally go into liquidation. All trading will be frozen and all details passed to the Official Receiver.
The company's intention is to apply for a "Strike Off" under s1003 of the Companies Act.
This situation has been brought about by some contractual enforcements made on the company by businesses who are not willing to waive or change the contracts that formed part of the business plan, these contracts were signed in good faith by Platinum Golf Limited.

We have since received communication to advise that the company (Platinum Golf Ltd / Omega Golf Ltd) has ceased trading and as of 1st May was insolvent. Companies House has been informed and will be struck off in due course.
We also received information that one of the company directors has been declared personally bankrupt as of 8th May. The official receiver (case reference number: Tameside Magistrates Court 78 o 2012) can be contacted at:
