The Northern Order of Merit is a series of scratch open golf competitions held at courses throughout the North of England.

Below are the results from the Revidge Cannon at Blackburn Golf Club.

McGuire’s birdie blitz

HOUGHWOOD’S Daniel McGuire called the shots in the Revidge Cannon at Blackburn but there was no change on the list of top 10 contenders in the race for the Galvin Green Northern Order of Merit title.

McGuire finished two shots in front of Prestatyn’s Graeme Booth after rounds of 70 and 69, the latter featuring seven birdies in the home stretch.
