CDH ID Number?

What is my CDH ID Number?

CDH stands for 'Central Database of Handicaps' and is your unique handicap reference number.

It allows golf clubs to confirm handicaps of visiting golfers in open competitions without the need for producing your handicap certificate on the day (although we still advise you to take a copy just in case).

Your CDH ID can usually be found on your handicap certificate and if you contact your club/handicap secretary they should be able to tell you what your CDH number is.

More Info

The CDH system has been developed by England Golf to help golf clubs maintain members handicaps. Once your club has registered, you will be issued with a ID number.

It enables verification of your handicap when entering competitions, and you will no longer need to obtain your Secretary’s signature to enter England Golf and various other events.

It also provides proof of club membership when visiting other courses.
